
Ms. Dobson graduated from high school in Heidelberg, Germany where her father was in the military. She attended the University of Florida in Gainesville receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduation, she taught middle school students – seventh and eighth graders in Florida, and fifth and sixth graders in Tennessee – before entering law school.
In 1984, Ms. Dobson graduated from Memphis State, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, and then clerked for the presiding Judge of the Court of Criminal Appeals for one year. For the past 25 years in private practice, she has concentrated in the area of family law including divorce, child support, juvenile court and adoption. In 1998, she opened Rikard & Dobson, PLLC in Germantown.
Ms. Dobson is married and has one teenage daughter. She belongs to Zonta International, a professional women’s charitable organization that raises funds to improve the status of women worldwide. She is a founding member and on the board of Memphis Golden Retriever Rescue, an organization dedicated to finding new homes for lost, abandoned or abused golden retrievers. Ms. Dobson is also a member of the Memphis Bar Association.
Amber Hitchcock concentrates her practice in all areas of family law including divorce, parenting time, child support, paternity, adoption and juvenile court matters. Ms. Hitchcock is dedicated to serving the legal needs of her clients and takes pride in providing her clients with the professional attention they deserve.
Ms. Hitchcock is a graduate with honors from the University of Memphis where she received a B.S. in Management Information Systems in 2002. Ms. Hitchcock went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2006. Ms. Hitchcock was admitted to practice in Tennessee in 2007 and is a member of the Memphis and Tennessee Bar Associations.
Ms. Hitchcock is married and has a young daughter. In her free time, Ms. Hitchcock enjoys spending time with her family and participates in many 5k runs throughout the Memphis area.
Holly Holt joined Rikard & Dobson, PLLC in 2009 and focuses her practice in the area of Family Law. Mrs. Holt is a member of the Memphis Bar Association.
Mrs. Holt was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Public Administration and a Minor in Business Administration.
Upon graduating from the University of Tennessee, Mrs. Holt returned to Memphis to attend law school at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. While in law school, Mrs. Holt received the CALI Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.
Mrs. Holt resides with her husband, Billy, and their chocolate lab, Buster, in Bartlett, Tennessee. She is an active participant in Habitat for Humanity and currently serves on the planning committee for the 2009 Habitat for Humanity Toolbox Bash.
